Cathy’s interest in health and wellness began in her teens with the discovery of a fascinating and intriguing book about reflexology. That book started her down a study path that continues today, including Massage and Bodywork, Western and Eastern Medicine, Holistic healing and Energy Medicine. She enjoys spending countless hours researching Wellness and Health related topics.

During her career as an Electrician she realized how important it is to understand and care for our bodies, so massage school was the next step in gaining basic grounding in health management. While still working in the trade, Cathy researched, developed and taught Safety and Ergonomics Classes to over two thousand students.” I still run into Students today who tell me that their increased aware-ness has prevented injuries, and that’s a great feeling.”

An experienced and innovative licensed massage practitioner, Cathy is passionate about helping people relate to and feel better in their bodies. She graduated from Seattle’s highly regarded Brian Utting School of Massage in 1994 and is a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). She is dedicated to continued development and has taken over 700 hours of additional training.

Current projects include a Women’s Self Nurturing Workshop which is scheduled for 2016. This project is the culmination of over three years of research and development. “I’m very excited to offer this hands-on class which includes Polarity and the 5 Elements, Self-Care Minutes, Daily Energy Balancing and Stress Management.”

In her personal life Cathy is happily married, has a son and step-daughter, several grandchildren and two dogs to keep her busy. Daily walks, time in the garden, and camping are high priorities. Cathy and her husband Michael are musicians and singers and perform locally at community events and private parties.
